The Laboratory of Psychology and Sociology of Work, which constitutes part of the CIOP-PIB Department of Ergonomics, has conducted research as well as work of practical importance aimed at measuring psychosocial stress in organisations and developing guidelines on stress reduction. CIOP has participated in the European Agency for Safety & Health at Work Topic Centre programme through its work for Topic Centre Good Practice Candidate Countries and Topic Centres New Member States and Enlargement Action. The CIOP experts that will be participating to the project have expertise on indicators for work-related stress and psychosocial risks, sector-specific considerations in occupational health and safety and stress management interventions.
