The Psychosocial Risk Management – Vocational Education and Training (PRIMAeT) project focuses on the development of a training programme for promoting psychosocial risk management at the workplace delivered by means of a virtual learning environment (VLE). PRIMAeT builds on research conducted through the PRIMA-EF project. The PRIMA-EF consortium received funding for this project through the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Leonardo da Vinci programme (DG Education & culture), to develop the training and educational materials which will be targeted at employers, managers, occupational health specialists and other practitioners.
The PRIMAeT project aims to:
a
a
Improve the quality of training provision through the development of innovative contents for psychosocial risk management delivered by means of a virtual learning environment.
a
Improve accessibilty of training provision for psychosocial risk management for managers and employers especially those in small and medium sized enterprises.
In line with the innovations in the project, the PRIMA-EF consortium is working with the British Standards Institute towards the development of a Publicly Available Specification (PAS) for psychosocial risk management. The PAS will ensure ongoing good practice for employers as it is a proven tool for influencing employers, and will encourage managers/employers to engage in the PRIMA-eT training thus psychosocial risk management at the workplace.
